#5 - Reason why i will NOT miss Shanghai, China
crazy, crazy taxi drivers....some of them are surly, some of them are talkative, some of them ignore you completely and some of them are just plain strange...but most of them are CRAZY drivers...this is not a place i would want to drive....
three different types of taxi...all of the crazy drivers...it is really rare when you find one who is good...
love this one...he is taking a quick nap on the job....green light on....ready for passengers....not
tricked out cab driver...this guy listened to rap from america and had a wild car...you can tell from his outfit and the leopard print steering wheel cover....
when i get into a cab...the first thing i always look at is their ID placard...the lower the number, the longer they have been driving....usually the better they are....plus, they have a star system that lets you know if other people liked the driver's driving...this past year i got into a cab with an amazing driver...this guy above....its the lowest number i have ever seen and he has a five star rating, which i also had not seen before him....and he spoke english....he was a rare find....

the students and families from the school i work at - SCIS...some of the best around....
this is a shot of the school taken from my apartment building...not a very big place...but a fun place to be with the kids and colleagues i work with....
what i see every time i walk in :)
fun kids from the heart dissections last year....
my crew from the 8th grade trip to hainan this year...a great mix of interesting kids...
