the crazy outfits worn by chinese people and their animals....they always seem to match or have an outfit for the day....check it out....
it's common to see chinese folks out and about in their pajamas...someone once told me they do this so they can show that they have leisure time and don't always have to work...that could be a lie, but there are certainly a lot of them who go around in pajamas....
they also love to dress up their pets...this is a tang dynasty outfit...gotta love it....
and then sometimes you just come across someone with a style all their own...these super, huge, round framed glasses are very common these days....
these guys were dressed for a beer fest....they seemed ot be having a blast....
and in the winter....more pajamas...but these are lined and padded and extremely warm...

the crazy outfits worn by chinese people and their animals....i have been amazed...for the couples who dress the same, literally, to the folks who dress up their dogs, to people wearing their pajamas everywhere they go - because they can :)
pajamas and matching....it doesn't get much more shanghai than this :)
more dressed up pets...this woman was sooooo excited i took this picture....
the outfit was surprising on its own...and then i looked at the shoes...wow!!!!
and this is really common....couples wearing the same clothes....this is really big when people go away on holiday...i have even seen entire families dressed the same...not sure why this happens...but it makes for interesting pictures.....

So funny. As I was reading about your #7 reason for hating China, I was thinking that was a reason for loving China. Then you came right back with that reason for loving China. But I am annoyed with people dressing their dogs unless the dogs absolutely needs extra warmth.
I remember that lady in Baker & Spice just before the Texas Tenors concert. People watching is always a fun hobby in China!
